Our reporting tool

Boost Your Maps runs a small software tool that our team uses to build monthly reports for our clients. The tool is named "Boost Your Maps", the same as our company. This page explains what it is and what it does.

What the tool does

The tool connects to Google's official APIs, including the Google Ads API and the Google Business Profile API. Once a month it reads two kinds of numbers:

• How many people in a specific city search Google for the services our clients offer
• How each client's Google Business Profile performed, such as views, calls, and direction requests

We put those numbers into the monthly reports we send to our clients. That is the whole job of the tool.

Who can use it

Only our own team. The tool is internal, and it is not a product you can sign up for or buy. If a Google sign-in screen ever shows the name "Boost Your Maps", it is this tool asking for access, and the person signing in should be a member of our team.

What it does not do

The tool only reads data. It does not create ads, it does not change or manage ad campaigns, and it does not spend money in any advertising account. It also does not post to or edit any business profile.
